I spent one of the best birthdays ever with a few of my dearest friends at Country by the Sea Tea Room.

When you first walk into the shop you go into a lovely antiques/gift shop and downstairs there are several rooms of antiques. To the far left and in the rear of the shop is the tearoom with all its charm.

The tearoom is located within walking distance of the New Jersey shore in the charming town of Avon, NJ. All employees were very friendly, the owner Renee is fantastic she makes you feel as though you were family. Excellent service.

I was disappointed that there were no scones. But there iced tea sure made up for it. Even though the tea was not loose it really didn't matter it was prepared and served just right. I highly recommend the Sunday brunch,
(reservations are a must).

A lovely tearoom with all the charm that goes with tea.
